Health Programs
At OTTE A R Foundation, we believe that access to quality healthcare is a fundamental right. Our health programs target underserved communities across Uganda, focusing on preventive care, maternal health, and child wellness.
Our Approach
We work directly with local health centers, community health workers, and village leaders to identify the most pressing health needs. Our programs are designed to be sustainable, community-driven, and culturally sensitive.
Key Initiatives
- Maternal and Child Health: Prenatal care support, safe delivery programs, and postnatal check-ups for mothers and newborns in rural areas.
- Malaria Prevention: Distribution of insecticide-treated bed nets, community education on prevention, and support for rapid diagnostic testing.
- Nutrition Programs: Supplementary feeding for malnourished children, nutrition education for families, and community garden projects.
- Clean Water and Sanitation: Borehole construction, water purification systems, and hygiene education to reduce waterborne diseases.
- HIV/AIDS Awareness: Testing campaigns, counseling services, and anti-stigma education programs.
Impact
Since our founding, we have supported over 5,000 individuals through our health outreach programs. Our maternal health initiatives have contributed to a 40% reduction in pregnancy-related complications in the communities we serve.
