About Our Board
Our board members bring diverse expertise in nonprofit management, finance, education, healthcare, law, and community development. They serve as ambassadors for our mission and ensure that we operate with transparency, integrity, and impact.
What We Look For
- Passion for community development and social impact
- Professional expertise in areas such as finance, law, education, healthcare, or business
- Experience in nonprofit governance or leadership
- Strong network and ability to advocate for our mission
- Commitment to attending regular board meetings and participating in committee work
- Willingness to contribute personally and leverage professional networks for fundraising
Board Member Responsibilities
- Attend quarterly board meetings (in person or virtually)
- Serve on at least one committee (Fundraising, Programs, Finance, or Governance)
- Review and approve annual budgets and strategic plans
- Support fundraising efforts and make a personal financial contribution
- Act as an ambassador for OTTE A R Foundation in the community
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
